Tortilla Pinwheels

A sweet and salty bite, these pinwheels are great for your next party, featuring pears and green olives.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 4 ounces crumbled goat cheese
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup green olives, chopped
  • 3 9-inch flour spinach tortillas (burrito size)
  • 1 ripe Anjou or Bartlett pear, cored and cut into 9 long slices
  • 1 cup mixed greens

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine cheeses, honey, cayenne and olives. Spread evenly over the 3 tortillas.
  2. Place one-third of the greens over the cheese mixture. Place the pear slices, end to end, on top.
  3. Roll the tortillas slightly. Slice each into eight pinwheels. Place on a platter and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Tips & Notes

You can use any type of tortillas you like for this recipe. Tomato or whole wheat will work as well.
