Oven Fried Okra Recipe
Enjoy cornmeal-fried okra with less grease by baking it in the oven.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, sprinkle okra with cornmeal, tossing to coat.
  3. Spread on a baking sheet that has been coated with nonstick spray.
  4. Lightly coat okra with nonstick spray, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
