1. Strawberries are technically not berries.

Despite their name, strawberries aren’t berries at all, botanically speaking. True berries have seeds on the inside and are produced from a single flower containing one ovary. Strawberries, on the other hand, have their seeds on the outside and come from a single flower with more than one ovary, putting them in the category of “aggregate fruit.”
