2. Asters

Aster translates from Greek into English as “star,” and it’s easy to see why. These perennial plants are members of the daisy family and can be quickly identified by their star-like petals and yellow centers. Small but mighty, these petite flowers can be used as cover crops and attract pollinators like bees and butterflies. You can grow these fall flowers directly in the ground or in containers, particularly if you find dwarf varieties that don’t get more than a foot tall.

  1. What do you suggest for zone 9 or 10 Arizona area
    It could use color, but the correct plant 🪴 for the environment
